I’m totally falling in love with the Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage. They have a video blog! This short, 2 minute video is about their soon-to-open Milkweed Mercantile, a combination eco-market and bed & breakfast, constructed from reclaimed lumber and strawbales. I really love that they’re actually building this place. Here’s the video: simple but lovely.

Although I should be going into the office, I am very excited about discovering the Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, based in the NE corner of Missouri. (Missouri!!) Here’s some of what I love: They’re much more scrappy about building, using found and nearby materials. They acknowledge interconnections and don’t define “family” in the traditional way. w00t. [...]
